After getting into their accounts, he booked flights and rental cars under his own name!
The case “will likely end in a trial this summer on 19 felony accounts,” the Miami Herald said.
Hmm. I wonder where he went and in what cabins? The Points Guy values American Airlines AAdvantage miles at 1.5 cents per mile. Using this valuation, $260k worth of miles translates to just over 17 million AAdvantage miles! Wow.
With the current sign up bonus for the American Airlines Citi AAdvantage Executive Card at 50,000 bonus miles, you’d have to apply for the card 340 times and spend the $5k minimum in 3 months 340 times to get that many miles. That totals $1.7 million!
How would you use that many American Airlines miles?
